THE BURNT HALF

The Burnt Half presents the untold story of the devastating bushfires that destroyed half of Kangaroo Island during the 2019/2020 bushfires. The film presents a controversial true story that is both political and deeply personal, and explores the pressing question of how the fires could have been avoided. It challenges audiences to question their assumptions, and explore what this story means for a heating planet where natural disasters are increasingly common.
