Inspired by true events, Commando tells the story of a small ragtag, yet remarkable group of Boer soldiers, who embark on an epic, life-changing odyssey deep into enemy territory.

Their goal is simple yet suicidal: travel 2000km’s behind enemy lines, into the Cape Colony and find the legendary General Jan Smuts and his fabled commando, or die.

The film is based on the iconic journal of Deneys Reitz, which is hailed as the greatest true story of war and adventure ever told.

Courage and endurance are tested as the group battle the enemy, the elements and lay everything on the line in their desperate quest.
